Canadian Airlines Introduces "Real Time" Flight Schedule Access On The Web.

Effective immediately, the Canadian Plus interactive timetable via the web reflects flight schedules currently listed in SABRE, Canadian Airlines' flight reservations system. Timetable via the web provides travellers with an on-line version of the flight schedule, detailing flight times and routes for Canadian and our airline partners. This latest website addition gives customers greater control over trip planning.

Interactive timetable via the web is an enhancement of Canadian's existing web-based flight schedule. It is available to anyone browsing See browse.  the web. The product complements the Canadian Plus interactive timetable via the PC, a downloadable product containing regularly updated flight schedules, rental car and hotel information. "Canadian's interactive timetable via the web now accurately reflects the most current information available on our SABRE reservations system. Any schedule changes are available to customers as soon as we get them," said Gord Kukec, Director, Interactive Products. "Customers receive the same schedule information as they would by calling Canadian's Reservations office."

The timetable via the web is part of a suite of products launched by Canadian Airlines Canadian Airlines International Ltd. was, from 1987 until 2001, Canada's second largest airline after Air Canada, carrying more than 11.9 million passengers to over 160 destinations in 17 countries on five continents at its height in 1996.  under the Canadian Plus interactive banner. Other web-based products launched to date include:

- the virtual ticket - An electronic ticketing system

- web specials - Weekly fare specials exclusively for website visitors

- awards auction - On-line auction of travel packages and merchandise

- interactive locator map - Maps for selected Canadian and US destinations

- interactive timetable via the PC - Downloadable flight, car and hotel information

- Canadian Plus interactive reservations via the PC - Allows frequent flyers frequent flyer Hospital practice A popular term for a Pt who is regularly admitted to a particular ER or health care facility, for various reasons  to make travel arrangements by connecting directly to SABRE
