He is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party.  in New Delhi on Sunday and discussed economic downturn and its impact on bilateral trade.

New Delhi, February 15 (ANI): Tony Clement, Canadian Industry Minister met his Indian counterpart Trade and Industry Minister Kamal Nath in New Delhi on Sunday and discussed economic downturn and its impact on bilateral trade. Canadian High Commission release earlier stated that Clement would meet senior government officials and representatives from the business community to promote commerce, tourism and investment.
