COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Canada Colors is Canada's largest independent chemical distributor and is the sixth largest in North America. The firm's growth over the past 85 years has been built on a strong commitment to customer service.

Today, Canada Colors is a full service-provider of over 5,000 commodity and specialty products with eight distribution facilities across Canada, and a sulphuric acid and oleum manufacturing plant in Elmira, Ontario. Canada Colors is also a founding member of Omni-Chem, an association of independent distributors in North America, which means it can respond quickly to requests for North American tenders.

TECHNICAL SERVICE: Canada Colors' Coatings Specialties & Polymers Additives Division is staffed by knowledgeable sales, technical support and customer service people who understand the paint and coatings business and its need for prompt responses and solutions to customers' concerns. We have bilingual customer service and technical sales people to cater to our Quebec market.

An important part of delivering technical solutions to customers is ensuring a distributor has the right product mix to meet virtually all of a paint formulator's needs. Canada Colors does just that.

Canada Colors' environmental and quality accreditation includes: ISO9002-eooo, Responsible Care RV III reverification and IS0-9002-2000 under accreditations.

MAJOR PRODUCTS: In addition to the Coatings Specialities & Polymer Additives Division, with leading specialty suppliers such as Rohm and Haas, Hexion, Ineos Silicas and Melamines Sachtleben and GE Silicones, Canada Colors also operates a complementary Solvents Division, representing many of the leading solvent suppliers, such as Dow Chemical, Shell, Eastman, Lyondell, Arch Chemicals and Commercial Alcohols.
