Canada's Leading Wireless Provider Launches Video Messaging Service Powered by LightSurf.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Bell Mobility Customers Can Now Use VideoMail to Capture and Share Up To 15 Seconds of Live Action Using Their Samsung A680 Camera Phones

LightSurf Technologies, the global leader in open standards multimedia messaging and interoperability solutions, today announced that Bell Mobility, Canada's leading wireless provider, has launched Video Messaging, powered by LightSurf. Bell Mobility's Video Messaging service allows subscribers to share up to 15 seconds of full motion video and sound with any e-mail address or Bell Mobility or Sprint PCS Vision capable mobile phone.

Bell Mobility becomes the first wireless operator in Canada to deliver a fun, affordable and nationwide service for phone-to-phone video messaging. In November 2003, Bell Mobility introduced picture messaging to its subscribers with LightSurf's award-winning, easy-to-use PictureMail service. In February 2004, Bell Mobility and Sprint PCS became the first North American operators to allow customers to share pictures between wireless service providers.

"Video messaging is a natural extension to Bell Mobility's picture messaging service, giving subscribers another compelling way to communicate visually," said Tony Henning, Managing Editor and Senior Analyst of the Mobile Imaging Report. "LightSurf's emphasis on streamlining the user experience helps drive higher messaging volumes and revenues, which is good for both carriers and subscribers."

Built on the LightSurf Open Standards MMS Platform, VideoMail extends the success of PictureMail with a familiar look and feel, and a tightly integrated design. With PictureMail and VideoMail, subscribers can compose messages that include popular third-party content as well as audio files, personal pictures, short video clips and other multimedia. LightSurf PictureMail and VideoMail enable a seamless exchange of digital pictures, audio and video using any visual communications system or any other Internet-ready, graphics-capable wired or wireless network.

"VideoMail is cool and innovative," said Philippe Kahn, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of LightSurf Technologies, Inc. "Every mobile phone can now be a camcorder that can share video clips with anyone, anywhere instantly."
