) is pleased to announce Rogers Wireless Rogers Wireless, formerly known as Rogers AT&T Wireless, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rogers Communications. Rogers purchased Fido in November 2004, creating Canada's largest wireless carrier, which surpasses Bell Mobility in subscriber volume, and is a Global System for Mobile , the largest carrier in Canada, has begun tests of Aerius-equipped phones. Initial tests indicate Aerius technology could increase 3G handset power in the 1.9 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  band by over 200%, or 5 dB compared to Rogers standard antenna-equipped test phones.
