He is currently the Executive Vice President of the Canadian media company CanWest Global Communications Corp. He is also Chairman of the National Post newspaper. , CanWest's Director of Special Projects, said: "First, with our unsuccessful bid for the Channel 5 licence in the UK, the strategic value of Talk Radio to CanWest has significantly diminished, and second, with the sale by two of our other partners of their interest to Media Ventures, CanWest was not prepared to be a minority shareholder in a controlled enterprise.
