Of the 5 million shares, 3 million were issued by the company and 2 million were sold by the company's parent, CanWest Communications Corp. The Non-Voting Shares are listed for trading on the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) World's largest marketplace for securities.
