Can-Cal Resources Ltd. Announces Assay and Mineralogical Study Data.

Ron Sloan, President of Can-Cal Resources Ltd. (OTCBB:CCRE), is pleased to report the most recent certified assay data provided by Rocky Mountain Geochemical Inspectorate America Corp. of Reno, Nev.

These results were obtained from 5 individual approximately 30 gram samples (see Table One) of powdered volcanic cinder material taken from the established sample site locations on the screened stockpiled material at the Pisgah Hill Project Area. These Test B samples were furnaced using Flux One in an electric assay furnace at the CAL002 company facility under the continuing Care and Custody Program of Bruce Ballantyne, Geologist.

The Test B data as reported in Table One was produced by Rocky Mountain Geochemical using the "new" Dore assay methodology as compared to the Test A data reported in Press Release Aug. 11, 2000.

The Board of Directors of Can-Cal Resources Ltd. interprets these Test B results as confirmation that Flux One CAL002 extraction technology is successful in extracting significant precious metal content directly from Pisgah Hill volcanic cinders.

Can-Cal Resources Ltd. has received a preliminary list of detected minerals and compounds observed in a contracted mineralogical study of Pisgah volcanic cinder material. The study was conducted at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles by Professor Jacques Jedwab of the Department of Geochemistry and Mineralogy. Dr. J. Jedwab is a world recognized published scientific author who has specialized in the field of Platinum Group Mineral Study. Can-Cal Resources Ltd. is pleased to report that the complete mineralogical study report is expected shortly. His preliminary observations sent to Can-Cal report the identification of rare to very rare mineral species with major contents of Platinum Group Elements (PGE) (i.e. Ferro Platinum and Plumbopalladinite) as well as more abundant mineral species with the potential to contain minor amounts of PGE (nickel and nickel-copper sulphides and selenides). Native elements and alloys of silver, gold-silver, gold-mercury-lead-tin, and a mixed grain of platinum, platinum-palladium, lead-gold-mercury and platinum oxide were also detected.

These verified mineralogical observations from a total of fifty-eight minerals studied using SEM-EDS and reflected light microscope methods support the conclusion that precious-metal-bearing minerals are present in the Pisgah Hill volcanic cinders.

The successful, confirmed and repeated precious-metal extraction of gold, silver, palladium and platinum for Pisgah Hill screened volcanic cinder material is now further supported by the mineralogical facts.
