Can you help trace family? VIEWPOINTS.

I AM trying to find some of my family from way back in 1927 or in the early years of the 1930s.

I only ever lived with my mother for one year, when I was 16-17 years old.

I'm 74 now and would like to know if I had a brother or sister.

I'm assuming they would have been born before I was in 1935; she was then 24.

My mother's name was Lina Grovania Valerie Barilli and she came from a village in Bardi Bardi can refer to:
  • Bardi, Italy, a city in the province of Parma, northern Italy
  • Bardi bush, an Australian plant, Acacia victoriae
  • Bardi (folklore), a shape-changing spirit or a rabid animal in Trebizond folklore who presages a death by wailing
.

The address is Caminata-di Campello, Bardi, Parma, Italy.

She came over here with her stepmother's brother - his name was Alberto Platoni.

They came over to work in the family fish and chip shop, the family still have it.

His sister was married to Barilli.

The fish and chip shop was between Newport and Cardiff.
