I NEED to tell you a story that happened in 1964.

I am a Coventry kid and saw in your paper a young lady called Janet Spicer asking for pen pals for boys in the Army. I wrote off and got a reply from this young soldier on soldier on

It would be lovely to let her know about all this. I still have the original card she sent me back in those days. My name was Ann Swayne. I attended Earlsdon Infants, then All Souls Catholic School and finally Bishop Ullathorne.

It would be great to hear from anyone who remembers me as I do get a bit homesick home·sick
