BENJI is an eight-year-old collie who loves to play. Benji could live with cats and older children. He loves fuss and attention.

DAZ is one of the many small animals at the centre looking for a new permanent home.

TOOTSIE is a lively 10-year-old female cat. She has been in the cattery for three months and is becoming very depressed. Tootsie is desperate to find a permanent home.

ELLA is a German shepherd, aged two. She loves plenty of exercise and attention. She is very intelligent and would make a fantastic pet.

CATS PROTECTION is holding its spring fair at Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall, Coventry next Saturday at 10am.

As well as the usual stalls, raffle and refreshments, there will be a chance to meet some older cats, who dearly need new homes.

Volunteers will offer advice and support on adopting a cat.

Home checks are always made before they allow a cat to be rehomed.

A Cats Protection spokesman added: "At our last fair all the cats we took along managed to find good homes, and we are hoping for the same success at this event."
