Justin says: ACAS is an independent organisation set up by the Government which, among other things, mediates between parties when there is a workplace dispute. It will probably facilitate mediation between your union and your employer, but it is not like going to court and you would almost certainly not be reguired to participate. I would suggest you speak to your union shop steward A Labor Union official elected to represent members in a plant or particular department.
