The event, hosted by Brummie historian Professor Carl Chinn, is in support of the Melbourne communities that were devastated by bushfires which led to the deaths of more than 200 people. Being staged at the Cinnamon Red restaurant next Tuesday, it aims to raise more than pounds 800 to help the communities being rebuilt in the wake of the fires. It has been organised by Birmingham-based Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG), which was last year acquired by Australia-based Employment Services Holdings, which has its head office in Melbourne. Organiser Phil Pemble said: "We wanted to add a real Antipodean an·tip·o·des pl.n. 1. Any two places or regions that are on diametrically opposite sides of the earth. 2.
