Can tires be used as heat source?COUNTRYSIDE: Do you have any information on alternative heating sources ? Here in the state of Kansas, it is permissible per·mis·si·ble adj. Permitted; allowable: permissible tax deductions; permissible behavior in school. per·mis to burn old tires as a fuel source. Does anyone know of any affordable alternative heating systems that can handle tires? I once read in one of your magazines (which our family loves) about a furnace furnace, enclosed space for the burning of fuel. There are many kinds of furnaces, the type depending upon the fuel and the use to which the heat produced within it is put. Most familiar are the furnaces used in the heating of buildings. that burned corn and could "heat a home for about three hundred dollars." I don't remember the issue, but am interested in a tire burning stove stove, device used for heating or for cooking food. The stove was long regarded as a cooking device supplementary to the fireplace, near which it stood; its stovepipe led into the fireplace chimney. It was not until about the middle of the 19th cent. . One of our local (massive in size) concrete plants burns tires (4,000 a day) as an alternative energy source, but they are required to have EPA-approved exhaust scrubbing See data scrubbing, memory scrubbing and audio scrubbing. filters. Any ideas? -- Gene Cease Ceasefire Ranch; <Ceasefir@aol.com> |
