Can There Be Carbohydrates That Help the Body?

A scientific research field rightly called glycoscience or glycobiology does not agree with popular belief about sugars, and it is not just about weight loss.

There has been growing amount of scientific study and research that proves some type of sugar can have tremendous impact and advantage to our overall health of the body, including boosting the immune system.

Glycoscience is gathering more & more proof that the function of carbohydrates is important to maintain a fit and healthy job of our body. Many people are aware of the term ''glucose'' but if you see closely, there are some over two hundred glyconutrients (monosaccharides) which are originated in plants and only out of those 200, only less than 10 are used by our body to sustain the healthy balance. Some of the sugars are: galactose, mannose, fucose, xylose, N-acetylgalactosamine, N-acetylglucosamine, and N-acetyl-neuraminic acid (sialic acid).

Now recent scientific research and proof is shown that these carbohydrates and sugars help our body on cellular level. These carbohydrates allow our cell to better communicate within themselves, and thus making basic bodily functions more effective and efficient.

This type of cellular response proves this: what formerly was a low-carbohydrate diet or a no carbohydrate diet has now slowly begun to replace with "right-card" diet approach. So with the correct sugars and carbohydrates, our human body will become a well-oiled engine that may live fit, healthy, and longer and significantly live healthier than ever before.

We human beings have not changed so much in thousands or hundreds of years and we are the same humans that survived and lived mainly on plants. And now, modern day food diet we eat is totally changed compared to the food we ate ourselves some thousand of years ago.

Growth hormones, genetic engineering, and food preservatives are now essential part of almost anything we eat today. Especially when we eat fast food, we are virtually deprived of any nutrients. We eat empty calories each day from this junk food.

It''s very upsetting to see thousand of people are still ignorant of the harm they are putting upon themselves by not eating the right diet and following their strict low-carbohydrate diets. People should start to listen and take charge of their own health and well-being.
