 to take out full-page ads in major newspapers, Mendelsohn contends that this is the first time a private citizen has created and run a television commercial in support of a presidential candidate.

The spot, entitled "Tribal Sovereignty," uses footage from a CSPAN CSPAN Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network  interview with President Bush in which he responded to a question regarding sovereignty for Indian tribes. It ends with a simple appeal to "Vote for John Kerry." It will run on local cable in Los Angeles during this coming Saturday's USC Trojans -- Washington Huskies football College football has a long and storied history at the University of Washington. Over the years the Washington Huskies have won 15 Pacific Ten Conference Championships, 7 Rose Bowl Titles and 2 National Championships.  game, and on Monday, October 25th on CNN's Larry King Live Larry King Live is a nightly CNN interview program hosted by broadcaster and writer Larry King. The show premiered in 1985, and is CNN's most watched program, with over one million viewers nightly. .

"People need to understand who and what they're voting for," said Mr. Mendelsohn. "I've probably done thousands of commercials in my career, but none more important than this."
