Camstar Announces That Carl Zeiss Meditec Implements System to Take Control of Manufacturing and Quality; Application Enhances Its Already Lean Demand Flow Manufacturing Process.

Carl Zeiss Meditec designs, manufactures and markets medical instruments for the four main ophthalmic disease clusters (refractive, cataract, glaucoma and retinal disorders) - from diagnosis to surgery and follow-up treatments. Its wide spectrum of ophthalmic systems includes keratometers; slit lamps; fundus cameras for diagnosis; lasers for eye therapy; and instruments for measurement and optimum vision testing.
