To gain better control of the applications running on its network, Campus Veolia deployed Blue Coat ProxySG appliances together with Blue Coat WebFilter software to set, enforce and report on network users' compliance with corporate IT policies across the organization. Campus Veolia also deployed Blue Coat ProxyClient software to extend IT policy enforcement to all of its remote and mobile workers. Using the ProxySG appliance, Campus Veolia can analyze and filter Web traffic, including encrypted traffic, to protect its employees and optimize the delivery of critical business applications. Following the deployment of the Blue Coat solution, Campus Veolia realized an immediate 40 percent reduction in bandwidth consumption.
