, today announced the appointments of Brent Whisenant and Tom Olson to vice president of corporate development, and vice president of advertising sales, respectively.

Whisenant's responsibilities will include overseeing strategic partnerships, structuring strategic alliances and building a corporate development team. He will report to Chad Muir, chief executive officer.

Olson will be responsible for working with advertising partners, generating sponsorship and ad revenue and recruiting and managing an advertising sales team. He will report to Darin Gilson, COO.

Whisenant, a Salt Lake City native, has a broad range of experience in finance, e-commerce, and law. Prior to joining Campus Pipeline, he worked as vice president in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at FleetBoston Robertson Stephens, a technology-focused, San Francisco-based investment bank.

He also held responsibilities across Internet, e-commerce, telecommunications and software groups. Before joining FleetBoston Robertson Stephens, Whisenant was an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Underwriting groups at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 law firm.

Olson, originally from Hopkins, a suburb of Minneapolis, joins Campus Pipeline from USA Networks where he served for 12 years as vice president and director of advertising sales at the Sci-Fi Channel. In addition to creating marketing plans and supervising a staff of 75, Olson developed and managed a strategy that generated significant annual advertising sales.

Two others in the company have been promoted to the vice president level. Kimberlee Pearson, former operations manager See datacenter manager.  for Hewlett-Packard Co. has been promoted from senior director of academic partnerships to vice president of technical services.

John Dunn, formerly an attorney with the law firm of Fabian & Clendenin, has been promoted from senior director of sales to vice president of campus development.
