Campus Pipeline Announces Integration Adapter For PeopleSoft ERP Systems; University of Akron Validates the Benefits of a Unified Digital Campus.

Continuing its mission of supporting an institution's choice of technologies, Campus Pipeline Inc. today unveiled an integration product for seamless, real-time integration between Campus Pipeline technologies and PeopleSoft Student Administration systems.

The University of Akron is contributing to the development of the adapter and is currently beta testing (programming) beta testing - Testing a pre-release (potentially unreliable) version of a piece of software by making it available to selected users. This term derives from early 1960s terminology for product cycle checkpoints, first used at IBM but later standard throughout the  the product. The University is a member of the Campus Pipeline Pillar Institution program, a co-development group that provides insight, innovation and peer review on strategic Campus Pipeline initiatives and product innovations.

The University elected to integrate its PeopleSoft Student Administration system into the Campus Pipeline Web Platform because the Web Platform offers a proven integration infrastructure, customized portals See personal portal. , and enterprise applications. Together, these elements provide three key benefits to colleges and universities:

Integration Offerings for PeopleSoft Institutions

Institutions running PeopleSoft Student Administration systems can use additional Campus Pipeline technologies and technical service engagements to integrate other systems and applications into the digital campus. Campus Pipeline offers PeopleSoft institutions various levels and types of integration solutions:
