Camping on the campus! Summer coaching sessons target North sporting talent.


ONE of the UK's leading sports universities is reaching out to the region's emerging talent with a series of specialist coaching camps this summer. The Northumbria University Northumbria University is a modern university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England. Schools
Northumbria offers approximately 500 study programmes through nine Schools:
  • Applied Sciences
  • Arts and Social Sciences
  • Built Environment
 Future Stars Summer Sports Camps take place throughout August.

All 11-18-year-olds playing sport at intermediate level or above are invited to raise their game alongside a team of expert coaches and specialist support staff.

The one and two-day camps will showcase new skills aimed at improving performance and fulfilling potential.

Coaches will cover leadership issues and the value of self-belief with a view to playing sport at a higher level in the future.

The camps cover football, golf, rugby union, netball netball

The final event of the summer programme is a girls' basketball camp on August 26.
