FORMER captain Sol Campbell Sulzeer Jeremiah "Sol" Campbell (born 18 September 1974 in Plaistow, London) is an English footballer. He is a defender for the English national team and is captain of Portsmouth in the English Premiership, having previously played for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.  could return to training with Arsenal following his departure from Notts County. The 35-year-old defender is currently without a club after leaving the Magpies last month. He had signed a five-year deal at Meadow Lane but played in only one game for the Coca-Cola Coca-Cola
