Campbell 'aching'.


PORTSMOUTH manager Harry Redknapp Henry James "Harry" Redknapp (born March 2 1947) is an English former footballer who has had a long career in football management and is the current manager of Portsmouth in the English Premier League.  fears captain Sol Campbell may end up paying dearly for his fruitless exertions in England's game in Russia.

Redknapp is concerned about the possible damage to the 33-year-old centre-half's ankle ligaments on the artificial pitch in Moscow..

After seeing at first hand how the experience has taken its toll, as a precaution, Redknapp is considering leaving Campbell out of tomorrow's Barclays Premier League match at Wigan Wigan (wĭg`ən), city (1991 pop. 88,725) and metropolitan district, N England, located in the Manchester metropolitan area on the Douglas River. .

"He came back aching from head to foot, and I am wondering how much it has done to his Achilles tendons, which have always given him problems," said Redknapp.
