Campaigning for Maharashtra, Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh polls to conclude on Sunday.

New Delhi New Delhi (dĕl`ē), city (1991 pop. 294,149), capital of India and of Delhi state, N central India, on the right bank of the Yamuna River. , Oct. 10 (ANI): The election campaigning for Thursday's State Assembly elections in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh will conclude on Sunday (Oct. 11).

During the month long process, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh addressed an election rally at Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi had addressed rallies at Karnal and Sirsa in Haryana, while Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi addressed a rally in Bhopal.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party Bharatiya Janata party (bär`ətēə jän`ətə) [Hindi,=Indian People's party] (BJP), Indian political party that espouses Hindu nationalism.  leaders L. K. Advani, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley also campaigned in these poll-bound states.

The counting is to held on October 22. The election process will complete on October 25. (ANI)
