school uniforms

Worcester School Committee challenger Robert Diaz Robert Rubane Diaz was sentenced to death for the murders of 12 hospital patients. In early 1981, Community Hospital of the Valleys in Perris, California experienced an abnormally large number of deaths among its most elderly patients.  would like to explore a school uniform policy for the district.

"A mandatory school uniform policy is something that, if elected, I would work with my fellow School Committee members to establish in Worcester," he said in prepared statement. "School uniforms are cost-effective for parents during these difficult times, and they will ensure that our children are getting educated in math and science - not fashion."

Springfield has such a policy, and Mr. Diaz said he has been working with Springfield School Committee member Thomas M. Ashe to introduce a similar policy in Worcester.

The only school in the Worcester public school system with uniforms is Jacob Hiatt Magnet School magnet school
