THE Duchess of Cornwall The Duchess of Cornwall is the title held by the wife of the Duke of Cornwall. Duke of Cornwall is a non-hereditary peerage held by the British Sovereign's eldest son and heir. has joined the Scottish Women's Rural Institute.

Camilla has become an honorary member of the Ballater branch of the SWRI SWRI Southwest Research Institute (San Antonio, TX)

SWRI Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute , which holds monthly meetings close to her royal residence at Birkhall on Royal Deeside.

She follows in the footsteps of the Queen Mother, who belonged to the Birkhall Institute.

Around 24,000 women across Scotland are members of the organisation, which aims to advance the education of those who live and work in the country.

Her pounds 10 annual membership fee will be paid by the institute as she is an honorary member.
