Camilla costs in probe.
AN INVESTIGATION is to be held to find out if Prince Charles is spending tax-payers' cash on Camilla Parker Bowles.
Aides will face questions from a Commons committee on Monday about his income from the Duchy of Cornwall.
MPs are probing reports that Mrs Parker Bowles, 57, has been using his staff to do work for her.
The Public Accounts Committee is to make sure Charles is using money from his personal taxed income only to fund her various activities.
A committee member said: "The Duchy is a very profitable organisation established to cover the cost of the heir apparent's public and private life.
"As far as I am aware, that does not include his live-in partner. It is something worthy of scrutiny."
It is claimed she has made use of his staff several times in recent years.
It is not known who funds her bodyguards, clothes, hairdressing,, travel and personal needs, thought to cost around pounds 250,000 a year.
