Underscoring its renaissance as one of Hollywood's true independent film studios, Trimark Pictures Trimark Pictures Inc., was a production company formed by Mark Amin in 1985 and was the parent company of Trimark Holdings Inc. In her new position, Winikoff will oversee all operational facets of Trimark Pictures. In addition, she will continue to sit on the board of directors for the Trimark subsidiary, CinemaNow.com, whose goal is to become a virtual studio and the premier online destination site for both the streaming and making of niche-oriented independent films.

Over the course of ten years with Trimark, Winikoff has contributed to much of the company's success, overseeing all aspects of business, legal affairs, production, post-production, servicing and administration. Most recently, she played a key role in re-engineering Trimark's business plan.

Shifts in the business plan have resulted in a marked increase in revenues from years past due to Trimark's success with Home Video, International, Television sales, and exploitation of its nearly 700-title library. In addition, the company can boast its most successful AFM (Atomic Force Microscope) A device used to image materials at the atomic level. AFMs are used to solve processing and materials problems in electronics, telecom, biology and other high-tech industries.  to date with over $10M in sales at this year's event. Trimark's top executives have also succeeded in building synergistic, strategic alliances with up-and-coming talent, and such key players as NBC NBC

Winikoff indicates that building on its core strength, Trimark is now turning its focus on increasing theatrical revenue, and plans to establish itself as the pre-eminent developer, producer and distributor in the domestic theatrical marketplace of low and moderate, cost niche and/or genre pictures.

Trimark is currently set to theatrically release "Held Up," starring Jamie Foxx and Nia Long, due out May 12; "The St. Francisville Experiment," a film about a "real" haunted house in August; and "Skipped Parts," starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Brad Renfro, and featuring a cameo appearance by Drew Barrymore, which is slated for theatrical release in the fall.
