Cameron Ashley completes acquisition of branches in Arizona, Utah and Oregon.DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 1995--Cameron Ashley Inc. (Nasdaq:CMSH CMSH Center for Marital and Sexual Health ) announced today that it completed its acquisition of the Arizona, Utah and Oregon businesses of Star, Inc., a building products distributor. As previously announced, the acquired operations are United Wholesale Distributors, with branches in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona Mesa is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona and part of the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale Metropolitan Area. It is the third-largest city in Arizona, after Phoenix and Tucson. Mesa is one of the United States' fastest-growing cities, and currently ranks as the 38th-largest. ; P/K P/K Printer/Keyboard Supply Company, with locations in Salt Lake City, Provo and Ogden, Utah Ogden is the county seat of Weber County,GR6 Utah, United States. A 2006 estimate placed its population at 78,086. The 1994 sales for these locations were $37 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Company noted that it anticipates increased market share in Arizona and in Portland, Oregon resulting from the addition of these branches, as well as an enhanced residential roofing product mix in these markets. The branch additions in Utah provide the Company with its initial entry into rapidly growing markets. Ronald R.
