Cameratta Properties' Vision is One of Giving and Community.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- What defines giving? Is it providing resources for underprivileged children, supporting the arts, giving history a renewed voice and helping pursue a cure for cancer? If so, Cameratta Properties L.P., a diversified real estate company based in Cleveland, with offices in Fort Myers, Fla., has made that definition a part of their overall vision for the future.

Cameratta Properties' 25 year history of giving is notably diverse and expansive. They have partnered with a multitude of organizations, helping advance these organizations' goals of research education and growth. Some recent organizations Cameratta has partnered with include: the Florida Arts Cultural Center, Edison-Ford Winter Estates, The Cattle Baron's Ball, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County and a variety of fine arts and crafts organizations.

"Giving back to the community and our youth is so important in this day in age," said Dominic Cameratta, chief financial officer for Cameratta Properties. "Providing resources that would not have otherwise been there gives us a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction."

Florida Arts Cultural Center

In November of 2005, Cameratta helped the Florida Arts Cultural Center take a leap into the future with a $25,000 donation. The Center was housed in the former Post Office and Federal Building, a 1933 neo-classical building that stands as a work of art in its own right.

This donation was made to help support Cameratta's vision that all residents of Fort Myers have an opportunity to experience fine arts. The Florida Arts Cultural Center includes 5,000 square-feet of exhibition space to feature local, regional, national and international artists, as well as traveling exhibitions. In addition to traditional gallery spaces, the center also features open studios that allow patrons to observe resident artists at work, obtaining a first hand view of the creative process.

"I think of this as a win-win situation," said Joseph Cameratta, chief executive officer of Cameratta Properties. "A beautiful, historic building will be restored to its full glory while providing an unprecedented cultural opportunity for the City of Fort Myers and we are pleased to be part of the restoration."

Edison-Ford Winter Estates

During the past few years, the Edison-Ford Foundation has been holding a fundraising campaign for the renovation of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates. Cameratta felt this cause was one of great importance, as the rich heritage of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford is a staple in the history of Fort Myers and our nation.

Cameratta Properties donated $25,000 to help the foundation reach their goal of $3 million. This goal was put in place so the historic importance of this estate remains intact for future generations to experience.

Cattle Baron's Ball

Recently, Cameratta Properties was a presenting sponsor for the Cattle Baron's Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. The Ball was held at Cameratta's First Street Village site in Fort Myers., which was donated for use of the event. Cameratta donated $5,000 for two wrangler sponsorships and two tables.

"Everyone here at Cameratta can only imagine the struggle people with cancer go through," Dominic stated. "We can only hope our small contribution helps further the search for a cure of this fatal disease."

Cameratta, and other sponsors, helped raise more than $625,000 for the American Cancer Society, making it the largest Cattle Baron's Ball in all of Florida.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County

Earlier this year, Cameratta Properties donated $3,500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lee County. This donation helped to sponsor 35 children, enabling them to attend the 2006 Summer Camp.

"Without this contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County, the much deserving children would otherwise be unable to attend summer camp," said Erika L. Hampton, resource development coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County. "Cameratta Properties has been a great partner in providing ongoing support to our organization."

The Arts in Fort Myers

As a returning third year supporting sponsor of ArtFest Fort Myers, Cameratta Properties continues its dedication to revitalize historic downtown Fort Myers, while honoring the city's vibrant cultural community. The 33rd Annual ArtFest Fort Myers brought over 200 artisans from around the world to the outdoor festival in February.

"Cameratta Properties began developing luxury riverfront condominiums in downtown Fort Myers about four years ago and quickly become involved in supporting the arts in our community.
