Camco Financial/Advantage Bank Name Two New Directors.

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2002

Camco Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:CAFI), parent company of Advantage Bank, announced the election of two new directors to its board. Susan J. Insley, Executive Vice President and a Principal of Cochran Public Relations, Inc. of Columbus and Carson K. Miller, President of Washington State Community College located in Marietta, Ohio. Richard C. Baylor, Camco and Advantage Bank's President and CEO made the announcement.

Prior to joining Cochran Public Relations in 1996, Insley served as Senior Vice President of Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in Marysville, Ohio for eleven years. Insley earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1976 from the Pettit College of Law at the Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio. She was a Partner attorney with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP in Columbus from 1976 to 1985. Insley also worked as an Administrative and Legislative Assistant for U. S. Representative Clarence J. Brown for six years and a teacher in the Westerville, Ohio Public Schools.

Insley currently serves on the boards of Grede Foundries and the Westfield Group. She has been on the board of trustees of Ohio Northern University since 1977. She is currently Chairperson of Med Ohio Health, Inc., a non-profit corporation advancing certain health care initiatives in cooperation with The Ohio State University Medical Center. Insley served as a board member and past chair of The Ohio State University Hospital.

Insley has several notable honors including an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from Ohio Northern University, a distinguished service award from The Ohio State University, the Ohio State University Ralph Davenport Mershon Alumni Award, Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges' Hall of Excellence and Columbus' YMCA Woman of Achievement. Insley resides in the Dublin area of Columbus.

Miller has been President of Washington State Community College, a two-year comprehensive state community college in Marietta, Ohio offering technical degrees and lower division baccalaureate studies. Miller has been President since 1985 and has a Ph. D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron.

Miller previously served on the Board of Directors of Marietta Savings Bank, a division of Camco's Advantage Bank, from 1994 until the retirement of the board in June 2001.

Active in community affairs, Miller has served as a board member of Marietta Memorial Hospital and member and past president of the Marietta Morning Rotary. He also served as a member and past director of the Economic Roundtable of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Director and past president of the Ohio Appalachian Center for Higher Education and on the Executive Committee for the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. Miller has received numerous Notable Honors and has had several publications. He and his wife reside in Marietta.
