Cambridge SoundWorks Partners With Toys for Tots for Holiday Toy Drive.

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1999--

Cambridge SoundWorks, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Creative Technology, Ltd. (NASDAQ:CREAF), has announced their participation in the Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive. All twenty-six retail stores located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and California will be accepting donations from November 16th to December 15th.

Toys donated for the Toys for Tots program must be new and unwrapped (no gift wrap) so that they can be placed under the Christmas tree within each store location. The Marines will collect donations from each store and distribute them to needy children. Posters will be hung in each Cambridge SoundWorks retail store location to support the campaign. Local radio stations will be airing ads mentioning the Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive campaign and drop off locations.

Major events are occurring at two of the Cambridge SoundWorks retail store locations during the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. On Saturday, December 4th at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, Mike Bishop of the New England Patriots will be signing autographs in exchange for toy donations from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Rock station WBCN will also be making an appearance at this location where they will give away World Wrestling Federation (WWF) merchandise to help publicize the event.

On Friday, December 10th, at the Square One Mall in Saugus, rock radio station WAAF will broadcast live all day to help raise toy donations. Kyle McLaren from the Boston Bruins will be at the store signing autographs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in exchange for toys.
