Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA (1) (Canadian Standards Association, Toronto, Ontario, www.csa.ca) A standards-defining organization founded in 1919. It is involved in many industries, including electronics, communications and information technology. ; Bethesda, MD) has acquired the Public Affairs Those public information, command information, and community relations activities directed toward both the external and internal publics with interest in the Department of Defense. PAIS is a non-profit publisher of the literature of public affairs and public policy. The company publishes indexes and abstracts that help users identify and locate documents about political, social policy and economic issues. CSA said it will continue to publish the acquired products in print and make the databases available through its "CSA Illumina" service.

OCLC is a non-profit, membership, computer library service and research organization. It has over 50,000 member libraries worldwide that use its services to locate, acquire, catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Assurbanipal's library at Nineveh was cataloged on shelves of slate. The first known subject catalog was compiled by Callimachus at the Alexandrian Library in the 3d cent.
