Cambridge Heart Schedules Third Quarter Financial Results Conference Call.


BEDFORD, Mass. -- Cambridge Heart, Inc. (OTCBB-CAMH) announced today that a conference call has been scheduled for November 2, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. eastern to discuss the Company's third quarter financial results, as well as recent Company developments. The call will be hosted by Mr. Jeffery Langan, the Company's President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , and Mr. Roderick de Greef, its Chief Financial Officer. Interested parties may participate by dialing (866) 356-4279 or (617) 597-5394 from outside the U.S. utilizing Passcode 82383362.

Persons unable to participate may listen to a recorded replay at any time during the 48 hours immediately following the conference call by dialing (888) 286-8010 or (617) 801-6888 from outside the U.S. The code for the replay is 44763245. The Cambridge Heart Microvolt T-Wave Alternans Test measures extremely subtle beat-to-beat fluctuations in a person's heartbeat called T-wave alternans. These tiny heartbeat variations - measured at one millionth of a volt - are detected in any clinical setting where titration titration (tītrā`shən), gradual addition of an acidic solution to a basic solution or vice versa (see acids and bases); titrations are used to determine the concentration of acids or bases in solution.  of the heart rate is possible. The preparation for the test consists of placing proprietary sensors on a patient's chest. Extensive clinical research has shown that patients with symptoms of or at risk of life threatening arrhythmias who test positive for T-wave alternans are at significant risk for subsequent sudden cardiac events including sudden death, while those who test negative are at minimal risk.
