Cambridge Eye Doctors Helps Boston's Homeless See That It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.

Company's "Holiday Vision" Program Will Deliver the Gift of Vision

Sight Resource Corporation (NASDAQ: VISN), a leading provider of primary eye care services and managed vision care programs, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cambridge Eye Doctors, is holding a special charitable event, "Holiday Vision," to give the gift of vision to members of Boston's homeless community. During the event, optometrists and employees of Cambridge Eye Doctors will provide eye examinations for 50 homeless people from the Friends of Boston Homeless Shelter. In addition to checking their vision, the doctors will screen them for eye diseases and provide them with high-quality eyewear.

Cambridge Eye Doctors will kick off "Holiday Vision" with a press breakfast for the media and the homeless participants on Friday, Dec. 11, 8:45 to 10:30 A.M. EST at its store at 300 Washington St. in Boston. Additional exams will be conducted at its stores at 100 State Street and 300 Washington Street in Boston on Sunday, Dec. 13, 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. EST .

Friends of Boston's Homeless serves about 800 people a day from the Long Island Shelter, the Woods Mullen Shelter and the Long Island Annex Shelter. Every year, the organization is responsible for moving more than 100 homeless people into permanent housing and helping them secure employment.
