Cambridge Animation Systems Gains Nomura International as Committed Investor.CAMBRIDGE, U.K.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999-- Financing will expand research and new product development Cambridge Animation Systems announced today that new financial backing has been provided by international investment bank Nomura International plc. A representative of Nomura's Technology Investment Banking Group will be joining Cambridge's board of directors. The funding provided by Nomura will allow Cambridge to maintain and develop its position as a world leader in the animation software industry, in particular through its Animo line of products.
