Cambrian College signs credit recognition agrament with Australian school.


Graduates of certain programs at Cambrian College Cambrian College is a college of applied arts and technology in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1967, and funded by the province of Ontario, Cambrian has campuses in Sudbury, Espanola and Little Current.  will soon have additional opportunities to add a degree to their credentials thanks to an agreement signed between the Sudbury institution and the Australia-based Charles Sturt University Charles Sturt University (CSU) is an Australian multi-campus university in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. It has campuses at Bathurst, Albury-Wodonga, Dubbo, Orange and Wagga Wagga. .

The agreement allows Charles Sturt in New South Wales New South Wales, state (1991 pop. 5,164,549), 309,443 sq mi (801,457 sq km), SE Australia. It is bounded on the E by the Pacific Ocean. Sydney is the capital. The other principal urban centers are Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Lismore, Wollongong, and Broken Hill.  to formally recognize credits from specific programs at Cambrian.

As part of the deal, graduates of Cambrian's three-year Software Engineering Technology and Computer Systems Technology programs can complete eight courses to obtain a Bachelor of Information Technology A Bachelor of Information Technology degree (abbreviated BIT, BInfTech, BInfoTech or B.ICT) is an undergraduate academic degree that generally requires three to four years of study to acquire.  at Charles Sturt.

A person who is trained to give emergency medical treatment or assist medical professionals.

 and one-year Advanced Care Paramedic programs can also complete eight courses to obtain a Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) degree.

By completing an additional three courses, Advanced Care Paramedic graduates can add a post-graduate certificate in Intensive Care Paramedic Studies to their diploma and degree credentials. Charles Sturt University is one of the largest distance education providers in Australia.
