Cambrian College signs credit recognition agrament with Australian school.

Graduates of certain programs at Cambrian College will soon have additional opportunities to add a degree to their credentials thanks to an agreement signed between the Sudbury institution and the Australia-based Charles Sturt University.

The agreement allows Charles Sturt in New South Wales to formally recognize credits from specific programs at Cambrian.

As part of the deal, graduates of Cambrian's three-year Software Engineering Technology and Computer Systems Technology programs can complete eight courses to obtain a Bachelor of Information Technology at Charles Sturt.

Graduates of Cambrian's two-year Paramedic and one-year Advanced Care Paramedic programs can also complete eight courses to obtain a Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) degree.

By completing an additional three courses, Advanced Care Paramedic graduates can add a post-graduate certificate in Intensive Care Paramedic Studies to their diploma and degree credentials. Charles Sturt University is one of the largest distance education providers in Australia.
