Cambex reports fiscal 1995 first quarter results.


WALTHAM Waltham (wôl`thăm, –thəm), city (1990 pop. 57,878), Middlesex co., E Mass., a suburb of Boston, on the Charles River; settled c.1634, set off from Watertown 1738, inc. as a city 1884. , Mass. --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jan. 13, 1995-- Cambex Corp. today reported revenues of $10,167,000, and net income of $156,000, equal to $0.02 per share, for the first quarter of fiscal year 1995 ended Dec. 3, 1994.

This compares to revenues of $9,088,000 and net income of $128,000, or $0.02 per share, for the first quarter of fiscal year 1994 ended Nov. 27, 1993.

"The mainframe segment of the company's business has improved from a year ago, with our customers now starting to add storage capacity to their IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  ES/9021 mainframe machines.
