Calyx Software Releases Point Version 5.4.SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Calyx[R] Software today announced the release of Point[R] version 5.4. Version 5.4 includes many features that will make an impact on the day-to-day business of Point users. 5.4 includes increased Piggyback Loan functionality, a new loan status bar, added flexibility in reports, more comprehensive truth in lending disclosures and increased marketing functionality, in addition to Title Report title report n. the written analysis of the status of title to real property, including a property description, names of titleholders and how title is held (joint tenancy, etc.), tax rate, encumbrances (mortgages, liens, deeds of trusts, recorded judgments), and real property taxes due. and Verification of Employment and Income ordering in Point. * Piggyback Loans: A streamlined process to originate and track Piggyback Loans. The loans are linked so that with a change in either loan, that change will flow through to the other - but only if it needs to. Point "knows" which data needs to change and which should stay the same. * Loan Status Bar: In Point 5.4, a new Loan Status Bar resides below the Shortcut Toolbar along the left hand side of the screen to so you can see a summary of your loan that updates dynamically as the user works the file. * Added flexibility in Reports: Point 5.4 allows for view and permission options, paper size/orientation, and column width adjustment in Reports. Other Reporting changes include an option to either type in the field ID or select it from a dropdown menu, determine which fields are shown and which are hidden by checking or un-checking the radio buttons, and sort data or change column widths on the generated Report for better viewing and printing. * Order Title Reports and Verifications of Employment (VOE VOE - Vehicle Office E VOE - Vehicle Operations - Program E VOE - Verification of Employment VOE - Village Oakes Elementary (Immokalee, Florida) VOE - Vision of Escaflowne (anime) VOE - Voice of the Employee) and Income (VOI VOI - Value of Investment VOI - Venus Orbit Insertion (NASA) VOI - Visual Operator Instruction VOI - Voice of Information VOI - Voice Over Internet VOI - Volume of Interest (medical imaging)) through the Services Menu: Title Reports, VOEs and VOIs can now be ordered the same way as Credit and Flood - with a few mouse clicks. * More comprehensive Truth in Lending disclosure: Point 5.4's Truth in Lending screen can now process a wider variety of loan programs, like Interest Only Bi-Weekly, Interest Only Buydown Buydown A mortgage-financing technique with which the buyer attempts to obtain a lower interest rate for at least the first few years of the mortgage, but possibly its entire life.
