Calyptix Introduces AccessEnforcer Version 2.0 at SMB Nation Annual Conference.


CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Internet security firm, Calyptix Security, is pleased to showcase AccessEnforcer version 2.0 at SMB (1) (Small to Medium-sized Business) Also called "SME" (small to medium-sized enterprise), it refers to companies that are larger than the small office/home office (SOHO), but not huge.  Nation's 6(th) Annual Fall Conference taking place October 4-6 at Seattle's Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Version 2.0 adds SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) The leading security protocol on the Internet. Developed by Netscape, SSL is widely used to do two things: to validate the identity of a Web site and to create an encrypted connection for sending credit card and other personal data.  VPN (Virtual Private Network) A private network that is configured within a public network (a carrier's network or the Internet) in order to take advantage of the economies of scale and management facilities of large networks.  for secure remote connectivity, expanded real time network reporting, advanced network diagnostic tools and a new graphical user interface graphical user interface (GUI)

Computer display format that allows the user to select commands, call up files, start programs, and do other routine tasks by using a mouse to point to pictorial symbols (icons) or lists of menu choices on the screen as opposed to having to
 (GUI (Graphical User Interface) A graphics-based user interface that incorporates movable windows, icons and a mouse. These enhancements continue the Calyptix' commitment to eliminate the barriers of needless complexity facing smaller businesses in pursuit of enterprise level security.
