Calm Baby(TM) was recently named as one of the "Videos of the Year Awards 2002" by Parenting magazine in its birth to 18-month category. Formerly known as the Video Magic Awards, Parenting magazine reviews several hundred videos before making its selection. The judge's criteria for non-instructional videos includes the video's originality and presentation, its ability to stand out from the pack, and whether the video talks with children (and their parents) as opposed to talking at them.

Calm Baby, a video primarily for infants and toddlers, is a collage of brightly colored toys and objects put to the calming sights and sounds of water along with favorite nursery songs and classical music. Because water has been used as the primary visual source, the video helps soothe a baby or child. Selected classical music and brightly colored objects in the video help nurture a child's mind and can be used as a developmental tool.

The Calm Baby video was created by two moms -- one, the parent of triplets, and the other a parent of an infant and toddler -- who wanted a video that could be used to soothe their own children, as well as enhance learning.
