Callware Technologies Inc. announced today the release of Callegra .UC Unified Communications The real time redirection of a voice, text or e-mail message to the device closest to the intended recipient at any given time. For example, voice calls to desk phones could be routed to the user's cellphone when required.  System, version 1.1. CallegraFAX has been enhanced with flexible personalized cover sheets and with the ability to transmit faxes in three different ways using CallegraFAX's visual interface. Faxes can be sent to a fax machine, to another Callegra mailbox or to any e-mail address. Fax addressing is also easily accomplished through an enhanced integration to Microsoft Outlook's Address Books. For optimal performance and maximum flexibility, Callegra system administrators can enable power users with the ability to self-administer a wide variety of features and functions on their mailbox.

Administration of Callegra .UC 1.1 is simplified through the use of the MMC interface. By offering a secure administration interface, system administrators can manage local and distant sites directly from their desktops. New voice and fax broadcasting capabilities make it easy for automatic distribution of both critical (immediate) and regularly scheduled messages. Additionally, Callware's earlier unified messaging product releases can be easily upgraded to the new Callegra .UC System. System migration software, included with the Callegra .UC software, is also available for download on the Callware Extranet. The Callegra .UC system migration software preserves system and user information including names, greetings, and box configuration data, which is then automatically populated on new systems.
