Callmate Telecom International Inc.'s (OTCBB:SAFF) unit Global Voice Data Communication S.A. (GVDC) has won the Protection Project based in Johns Hopkins University using INTERTENT proprietary video streaming SMX software on the LISP platform.

The contract is a complete turnkey project, which INTERTENT will design, manage, maintain and promote online for the Protection Project.

The database, gathered from 236 countries and territories, presents a world-wide picture, on a country-by-country basis, cross referencing such issues as trafficking, slavery, prostitution, pornography, adoption for illicit

purposes etc. and cross referenced again for criminal code in both the original language and in English. The information in the database will provide model international legislation to be utilized by countries that wish to improve and strengthen their laws.

The Protection Project is a legal research project, directed by Dr. Laura J. Lederer, originally at Harvard. Now it is based at the School for International Area Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C.

Private Foundations, individual donors and UNICEF have supported the project amongst others.

Dr. Laura Lederer stated that "For the past four years, the Protection Project has been gathering information on trafficking of women and children including then scope of the problem in every country, trafficking routes, laws that address trafficking, survivors stories, and more. We have contacted every Ministry of Justices and have received information from over 236 countries and territories, which is a phenomenal 96% return rate. This is an exciting time for us: once the information has been fact checked. Intertent will help us put it on line. The site will allow users to create custom maps; comparative charts, tables and graphs; access statutory materials from any country in the world and document trafficking problems on a country-by-country, regional or global level. It is our hope that the database will be used by governments, intergovernmental organisations, human rights groups, women's and children's organisation services providers, relief and development groups, as well as scholars, students and others to stop trafficking of women and children."
