Calling all miners.FORMER miners are being urged to collect pensions they are due. About 33,000 are entitled to pensions from the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme but haven't given the scheme their current addresses. The scheme has joined the Unclaimed Assets Register run by Experian to help it track them down. The Mineworkers' scheme is one of the UK's biggest, with assets of about pounds 10billion. Currently it pays out to 238,000 pensioners, with another 140,000 due money when they retire.
