Calling all coaches; SPORTS.


SPORTS coaches in Solihull are being invited to sign up for a new programme of courses.

Solihull Council's Sports Development Unit has teamed up with Sports Coach UK - The National Coaching Foundation -to host three workshops for coaches who want to further develop their skills and knowledge to provide high quality sessions.

The first course, Good Practice in Child Protection, will be held on June 5 at Solihull College Solihull College, formerly known as the 'Solihull College of Technology', is a Further Education College located in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, which is part of the West Midlands conurbation, in the United Kingdom.  followed by Coaching Disabled Performers on September 4 and Equity in your coaching on December 7. The three-hour, evening workshops are priced at pounds 30 each and organisers say places are limited.

Meanwhile, Smith's Wood School is hosting a Level 1 softball softball, variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. Invented (1888) in Chicago as an indoor game, it was at various times called indoor baseball, mush ball, playground ball, kitten ball, and, because it was also played by women, ladies'  course on June 7 for aspiring as·pire
