   WHAT: Paramount Home Entertainment invites you to meet Leonard
        Nimoy, "Star Trek's"  "Spock," when he makes a
        special appearance at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset and
        Crescent Heights. Nimoy will meet fans and sign copies of the
        recently released DVDs of "STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR
        SPOCK" and "STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES."

        Leonard Nimoy will also be on hand to autograph copies of
        his audio book, "STAR TREK: Spock vs. Q," part of the "Alien
        Voices" series from Simon and Schuster. In this volume, the
        two legendary characters, Spock and the omnipotent villain Q
        (John de Lancie), challenge each other to a battle of wits.

    WHO: Leonard Nimoy has acted in, written, directed, and produced
        numerous popular television series, motion pictures and stage
        productions, including "STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK,"
        "STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME" (which he co-wrote), and "STAR
        TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY" (which he executive
        produced). Nimoy has enjoyed a successful 30-year career in
        the entertainment industry portraying first officer "Spock," a
        half-human, half-Vulcan since 1966 on the hugely popular "Star
        Trek" television and film series. This leading role has earned
        three Emmy nominations for Nimoy and also helped launch his
        successful career as a writer and director.
