), a leading CAD/CAM/CAE software solution provider for enterprise-wide design-through-manufacturing productivity, has purchased Callidus Software's variable compensation management system, TrueComp(TM). Unigraphics Solutions will use TrueComp to help manage pay-for-performance programs throughout North America -- a total of up to 150 payees.

"Our recent implementation of SAP made our own legacy system obsolete," said John Seiler, Unigraphics Solutions' sales support manager. "TrueComp's web reporting is an ideal solution, based on the access it provides our sales people over the Internet."

The TrueComp system is a complete solution designed to turn the administrative tasks associated with variable compensation programs into a set of strategic management tools to improve a company's financial performance.

"ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer.  systems aggregate the pertinent transactional data feeds required to drive enterprise-wide variable compensation initiatives using TrueComp," said Phil Ressler, senior vice president, marketing for Callidus Software(TM). "Unigraphics Solutions chose TrueComp because the architecture complements ERP systems, provides web-based reporting to salespeople and makes modeling variable compensation plans to maximize corporate revenue drivers a reality."

Unigraphics Solutions selected TrueComp to replace administration functions handled by the existing compensation programs that were developed in-house, and add the ability to model new incentive plans, report results to plan participants and analyze performance. With full implementation expected this fall, the TrueComp system is expected to process over 5,000 transactions for North American operations each month.
