Callecod named CEO at Central AR Hospital.


David Callecod, the current chief operating officer at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, will take over as chief executive officer in May.

David Laffoon, who has spent 24 years as head of the hospital, will retire in May.

Callecod came to the hospital in November from Winona Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was chief executive officer.

Callecod and his wife, Kimberly, live in Searcy. They have three children: Ellen, Ian and Nolan.

Hospital employees and medical staff will hold a reception for Laffoon on May 2.
