M5, M10 and M160 routers are installed in six POPs in the Ruhrgebiet in Nordrhine-Westfalia, Germany's most densely populated area. The POPs are interconnected with OC-48/STM-16 circuits, with M5 and M10 routers acting as peering devices connecting to other service providers.

Deployment of the Juniper Networks routers in the ish network is part of a project led by Juniper Networks worldwide distribution partner Nortel. In this capacity, Nortel is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the network.
