It is part of the Coventry South Constituency. , is holding the event on Saturday April 17 to help pay for Elisabeth and her parents to go on holiday.

The bungee jump, which is being provided by Worcestershire firm Bungee Extreme, will run between 4pm and 6pm, with the first pounds 40 raised in sponsorship paying for the jump.

Landlord Phil Travers said he was looking for at least 30 jumpers to make the event a success - so far 15 people have signed up.

A second jump will be pounds 10, and friends can pay pounds 5 or pounds 10 to travel up the 50ft crane to see their pals jump off.

Mr Travers said activities take place from 2pm, with a disco and auction from 6.30pm. Anyone wanting a sponsorship form can call into the pub or contact him on 024 7645 1134.
